03 / Origin

Humble Roots, Ambitious Dreams

It started with a degree in International Commerce and a habit of building. Moving between continents (Venezuela, Spain, then Jersey) added a different kind of fluency.

I taught myself to ship software and, just as importantly, to secure it: hardened infrastructure, least-privilege access, audit trails by default. Then I went after accounting and reporting, the numbers behind a business, so I could connect the systems I build to the decisions they serve.

05 / Method

Approach.

I start from least privilege and automate whatever repeats. Everything leaves an audit trail, because I would rather hand someone evidence than a promise.

A breach is the maximum form of operational disorder. Security is part of how the work gets done.

06 / Side projects

Tinkering.

Most of what I ship keeps running when I close the laptop. I designed and built a set of systems that carry my routine work on their own: a nightly process that reads everything I wrote and produced that day and files it into a knowledge base I can still query months later; a research pipeline that gathers sources, cross-checks them against each other and refuses to report a single figure it cannot cite; a sourcing engine that tracks suppliers, quoted prices and lead times across four countries; and a scheduler that runs the whole thing while I sleep.

I wrote the orchestration, the databases, the security boundaries and the failure handling, and I keep them running on hardware I administer myself. Every system stops at a checkpoint and waits for me before anything leaves the machine, because I would rather review a queue in the morning than undo a mistake in the afternoon. By the time I sit down, the reading is done and the numbers are reconciled. The decisions are still mine.
